We have ordered a large disposable bbq pit for the wet weather plan. If it rains, we will bbq in the shelter. If it doesn't, we can still use it anyway: to hasten the bbq process and to allow more ppl to bbq at any one time.

Time/place to meet:
-2pm at Marine Cove MacDonald (the only Macs in ECP) for those who are blading/ kayaking/ cycling
-For the others, meet us at the pit (we will start bbq at around 6pm)

Pre-BBQ recreation:
-Blading, kayaking, cycling etc (split up)

Food:
-To be ordered from bbqwholesale.com
-Everything, including tongs, charcoal, wiregauze etc will also be provided by the caterer
-Note that it will be a little bit more expensive than getting our own food from supermarket, but it is very CONVENIENT! (If we go shopping for food, we can't blade/kayak in the afternoon!)

Seven Three, Your 爱心parcel has reached me here safe and sound last Friday--the mooncakes are still round and good! Those that they sell here either come in boxes with the classic Chinese 四大美人 (but nobody wanted 杨贵妃in the end coz you-know-why) or portraits of the 福禄寿, which we thought of cutting out and pasting on our dorm walls to pass off as our ancestors and scare the Americans. Hehehe...

Thank you so very much! Sorry ah, I hope none of you parted with your money unwillingly iseneh... 破费了! Didn't know it'd be so darn expensive! Invitation to Filodoksia - A musical of ambition and love

I would like to extend an invitation to all beloved 73ers to watch Φιλοδοξία (pronounced as Fi-lo-doks-i-a), a musical produced by Set. Yeah!

Just to give you a little information to whet your appetite, this year’s musical sees a love story and an intrigue set upon the backdrop of ancient Greece. It explores how one’s obsession with perfection could bring out the worst in man and shows how far one is willing to go to achieve one’s ambition.

The details about the musical are as follows:

Yay I love 73! Thanks everyone for that night! Thanks Wei Kiat and Cheng Jie who risked their life to carry so many passengers in their cars. We clocked 7 persons in each car while going for supper! And thanks WK for sending us back all the way. He drove for 1 hour plus to ensure that all of us are sent back home. So nice neh..

Kudos to those who joined in the mass dances enthusiastically!

pow, cs, cj...and the final fantastic four (pardon me for being lame) who persevered through to the end: wx, wk, xinyu, xav *clapsclaps. Before we left hwachong for marina sq, we discovered that our fav yong tau foo stall has been renamed CANDY yong tau foo. tian mi mi iseneh.

Hailing was observant enuff to spot the se mi mi cai fan next to e yong tau foo stall. lol.kudos to yw who suggested xinwang hk cafe. i like.

And kudos to chopin, who willingly forked out $$ to treat us to guotie, pai gu etc etc. (I wonder what was your motive for being nice to us.)

Finally, kudos to cj n wk! for sending so many ppl home, and making our supper trip possible. =]]]

here's the plan for maf:
we shall reach at any time we wish to then meet at class bench kay ? we'll tentatively set a time at 6pm at class bench but i doubt that most of ur will be on time. after that we'll take a vote to go either kap, btfc, hk cafe (cha cha teng outlets) or geylang. i tnk geylang is prob out since parallel parking will be a complete bitch on a saturday night.

wk, did you mng to convince ur dad to let you drive his car for maf ?

MAF MAF MAF

I apologize for such an offensive virgin contribution hehehe, but I'm writing this from a country that allows freedom of expression and YW's previous post on car-pooling after MAF got me curious about the idea of space. It does look like some of you will have to cab neh. And I'm miffed that I can't be squeezing with you all post-mass dances sweaty bodies at the backseats this year, now that so many of you guys already can drive and I'm not physically there to get a free ride to tour Geylang at night. Arghhh.

Yesterday, during the UNC Singaporeans' gathering with Duke (we're just a 20-minute bus ride away from each other) Singaporeans, we had sung 当你 孤单你会想起谁 and the HC people basically launched into MAF highness, screaming 华初 in front of the RJ majority haha. I really wish I can be there on MAF, but that's not possible unless I ask Phantom Beng how she can make me Phantom Ereneh too. So please please take loads of photos, post them up here and let me know what fun you guys will be having. You guys know how much I love the mass dances and the clockwise (then suddenly anti-clockwise) formations that Jaspar always leads and at the same time, brushes his hairy legs against the victims to his sides. I also heard that there will be many more pomelos (and the paw paw straight off qin ke qing's room in LEP room ) in the reading room this year hehehe.

i've got some suggestions wrt supper aft maf ! but we've only two cars so far - wk & cj's. so the rest may have to cab hah ! suggestions !

1. the 24hours hk cafe ! (marina sq, cineleisure etc can't tnk of nearer outlets!)
2. mongkok beef horfun place in geylang lorong 8 ! (damn eggciting, i went with cj's medicine OG b4 then can see prostitutes soliciting in the other lanes. jaspar you can even roll down the windows and ask about the rates !) :D:D

btw can some kind soul tell me who exactly is WLS? im so confused cos my memory's failing hah.
